Originally released in 1986 on the Citadel label is the debut single from The Some Loves, the group put together by Darryl Mather and Dom Mariani. "It's My Time" and "Don't Talk About Us", both written by Darryl and Dom, are incredible slices of true Australian rock, pop, whatever you want to call it. Some even say powerpop - and it's a holy grail amongst the obsessives - but this single is so much more.

The independently released music from Australia at the time was on a roll, especially the ones on the Citadel label, and this is one of them. And to top off any classic single, a killer b-side in "Don't Talk About Us".

The band name morphed into The Someloves a couple of years later and they put out some singles and the album Something Or Other, all of which can be found on the Half A Cow 'classic reissue' double cd Don't Talk About Us - the real pop recordings 1985-1989, which contains everything the band recorded.
