Compiled by Tom Morgan, this is a companion to the Tea Toast And Turmoil compilation.

Tea Toast And Turmoil was all about the first line-up of Smudge (Tom Morgan, Alison Galloway and Paul Duncan) whilst Scary Cassettes features the Mark II line-up of the band (Tom Morgan, Alison Galloway, Adam Yee and Pete Kelly).

Songs have been taken from 1994's Manilow album and b-sides that were collected on the Mo Poontang compilation, right through to the final release Real McCoy, Wrong Sinatra.

All songs previously released 1994-1998.
